Typing delay in user tools

Whenever I type text in a user tool, the display is delayed about 2-3 seconds. This does not happen in other text boxes in Accordance such as the search text. Any idea why this might be?

I haven't seen this issue in Accordance, but I've been following a similar issue in a completely unrelated application, NeoOffice.

Based on the conversations in the Neo community, the answers to the following questions might help track it down. (Then again, they might not):

What Mac OS version are you using?

Have you installed the latest Java updates?

Start up the Activity Monitor App (Applications>Utilities)

When the User Tool issue surfaces, what is the CPU % being used by Accordance?

Is total CPU usage "maxed out"?

In the case of NeoOffice, there are apparently some issues with Java that are causing the CPU usage to soar and, as a by product, bogging down typing. It is also (in Neo) related to the number of windows that have been opened (and, sometimes, closed). I don't know enough about how Accordance is developed/coded to know if problems with Java would have any effect or not, so my entire post may irrelevant, but I thought I'd offer it just in case it was related.

One other note--when I was having a typing issue with Neo, it was also the case that I had very little free memory. Perhaps because I had too many apps running, perhaps because the java issue was causing a memory leak. So it might be a good idea to check your free memory in Activity Monitor, too.

I'm using Mac OS X 10.4.8 and use a Intel Core 2 Duo Macbook Pro

My CPU usage is around 10% for both processors, and I have 1.3 GB of free memory (out of 2GB).

So, I'm a little unsure what the problem would be.
