Is LSJ Corrupt in General?

Yesterday I reported to corrections a hole (lacuna) in the definitions of a word in LSJ. Some time ago I reported a similar hole in another word & learned that Accordance knew that LSJ was corrupt. So it was somewhat surprising to find that not yet fixed -- or is this one just an isolated case?

Hi Enoch,

This is not an isolated case. There are others. I have reported several myself.

In this topic http://www.accordancebible.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=7225 Helen responded saying an update was planned for the summer.

And update did come out but did not address these issues, and I opened another topic on this : http://www.accordancebible.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=13239 and another update is expected.

Until that comes I am careful and look for things like that in LSJ and cross-check as required with Perseus.

Thanks Dan,

I guess I will need to use the LSJ which came bundled with Perseus in Logos.

I am glad it will be fixed by end of summer. That means in 2 weeks now!

Of course in Texas we can't count on summer being over until Thanksgiving.
