R. Mansfield
I found out something unusual (to me) about the NLT-SE New Testament-- when quoting OT passages that include the Divine name, the NLT uses an all-caps "LORD." The only other major translation I know that does this is the NKJV. Here's my question-- is there any way to perform a search for the number of times this occurs in the NLT NT? When I tried using an exact form search, it failed--I think because ORD is actually in small caps. The exact form search works in the NKJV (the result is 67 hits if you're interested) because there's no use of small caps in the module. According to the help file, some Bible texts allow small caps to be turned off, but I cannot find this option in the Text Settings for the NLT-SE So, is there any way to perform this kind of search? Helen Brown
No, I don't think there is, sorry! You could try a search in the NKJV and then do a text compare with NLT-SE but it would miss any that were not capitalized in NKJV.
