Syncing Library Items?

Please forgive me if this has been covered elsewhere (I did search for it and couldn't find the answer).

Is there a way to sync the items in my library between different computers like I can the User Notes, User Tools, Bookmarks, etc.?

I have a very large library in Accordance and all of the books are already on all four of my personal computers—I would just like a way to keep the Library Tab organized the same way on each computer. This used to be an easy task when my Accordance Library was small, but nearly impossible now.

to my knowledge this is not the case now, but the ability to sync library organization is something i would very much like to see!

Given the new sync controls I think the two main categories missing that I would like to see added are this one, library organization, and workspaces.

Thx

Resuscitating this old thread. I just did a bit of an update to my library organization and it would be good if I could sync it over to my laptop.

Thx

Just wanted to bump this request a little, so I don't have to manually sync the library folder between my iMac and MBP.

Is there some preferences file that could just be copied from one to the other?

I have a desktop and two laptops as well and a fairly slow Internet connection, so I've been pushed out of necessity to try and find a solution as well.  I have successfully (anecdotally) been able to manually copy the files from one machine to another.  This will get the modules and your preferences:

/Users/accountName/Library/Application Support/Accordance/      <<< Your modules are in here

/Users/accountName/Library/Preferences/Accordance Preferences/

To note, this can be fraught with some peril and I would do so at your own risk and with a good backup, but generally has worked ok for me.   You need to make sure to not copy the Library Cache in one of the folders or be sure to delete it after you copy it or Accordance will fail to launch correctly on the target machine.  You could probably do this with Finder or with a number of terminal commands.  I happen to use rsync.  My actual bash script follows (obviously you need to replace accountName and targetHost with your own variants):

rsync -avzE /Users/accountName/Library/Application\ Support/Accordance/ targetHost:"/Users/accountName/Library/Application\ Support/Accordance/"

rsync -avzE --exclude="Library Cache" /Users/accountName/Library/Preferences/Accordance\ Preferences/ targetHost:"/Users/accountName/Library/Preferences/Accordance\ Preferences/"

Again, no warranties!!    :)   There may be risks here that I'm completely unaware of.
