csonni
When I do a search- how might I hone the results down to "Hits Only"? Take the word "justified." How can I see only those verses, etc. that contain the word I searched for rather than having to scroll to look for all the hits? I had posted this question quite some time ago and tried searching for the replies, but I couldn't find it. Is there an advanced option in Search to look for posts by User only? Joel Brown
Searches default to display just the hits. Check your context slider that it is set to 0. This is the slider right next to the hits information. The number on the slider represents the number of extra verses, going up to A = all verses. Also, if you are displaying all verses, the hit verses are bookmarked. You can navigate them using the Mark up and down buttons at the bottom left of the window. csonni
I've got my slider set to 0 for my Bible texts. I guess I'm referring more to the User Tools, etc. How do you limit the results to just hits?
Joel Brown
For tools, you set your display with the Show: popup menu on the right side of the search window. It defaults to All Text, but you can set it to just show the article containing the word, just the paragraph containing the word, or the paragraph plus the title of the article the paragraph comes from.
