Making Hebrew & English Parallel

Recommended Posts

When one has an English text up and the Hebrew along side it in a parallel pane, one may find that if one pushes a particular English verse (e.g. Gen 22:17) to the top of the pane, the Hebrew start of verse 17 will be on the second line, not the top line where the English starts. That seems to happen because the verse number (e.g., 17) starts a verse in English at the right of the pane. But the verse number (e.g. 17), comes up to the top on the left side of its pane with the first word then in the paralled Hebrew pane on the second line, not the top line. At least this sort of thing sometimes happens.

Perhaps this would be called a small inconvenience, rather than a big bug.

I am not sure what you are referring to. Are you getting a different result than the following screenshot?

Perhaps you have the references set to 'Above Verse' in the Set Text Pane Display (Command-T), under Format: in the References section?
