Richard Labelle
Would someone know of good audio/video/... material to learn hebrew? I know nothing of Hebrew yet but would like to learn. Any suggestions would be most appreciated. Thanks!

Dale K
I found a video podcast Hebrew Class on iTunes U. Just open iTunes, select iTunes store, search for "Elementary Hebrew." Narrow your search so that it only shows podcasts from iTunes U by clicking on the top right filter (iTunes U). You should see Elementary Hebrew listed. Choose and you can subscribe for free. mosheb
A new online video course has been created called Instant Hebrew. It teaches total beginners how to read Hebrew and more in just 2 hours. It covers all the letters, vowels, and some vocabulary as well. Worth checking out: http://www.instanthebrew.com
Ingo Sorke
At least for initial language acquisition, nothing beats an actual classroom experience. But short of that, animatedhebrew might be helpful. Shalom, Ingo
KevinSoars
Would someone know of good audio/video/... material to learn hebrew?I know nothing of Hebrew yet but would like to learn. Richard, In case you are also interested in some books, allow me to recommend, "The First Hebrew Primer" by Simon, Resnikoff and Motzkin (EKS Puublishing). I personally found it a little gem (actually it is quite big!) when I too knew 'nothing of Hebrew' but wanted to learn. Obviously, as others have pointed out elsewhere on the Forum, there are other introductions to BH, but for absolute basics taught in a 'simple' way this is an excellent book for beginners IMHO!
