Patience is a virtue: DAY TWO!

R. Mansfield

Recommended Posts

I ran a Search All in Accordance and found that "Patience is a virtue" was stated by Thomas Aquinas (Summa, II-II.136.1).

Therefore, please continue to show us and the new Custom Upgrade system patience as we process your orders. We are manually double-checking every order at the moment for accuracy. Any delay is strictly for your benefit!

Sounds good... I will not be one who gets 11 anytime soon anyway.... Maybe I will get the upgrade at Christmas...

Wow, I didn't know that saying went back that far!

Patience is a virtue is a proverbial phrase referring to one of the seven heavenly virtues typically said to date back to "Psychomachia," an epic poem written in the fifth century.

I rather refer to Gal 5:22. Patience is a fruit of the Spirit.

This verse does not refer to Accordance 11 however, IMHO.

Well a whole lot sayings of things get attributed to ben franklin that date back in fact to Cloud of Unknowing.... I just have a pet peeve about the origin of quotes. I had one teacher in junior high who constantly quoted Einstein as having said Genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration. He may of said it but Edison said it first.
