Abram K-J
Is it possible to delete the BHS-W4D (demo) text on iOS? As well as ESVi notes, ESVi, etc.? I have all those texts already, and would just as soon delete the demo versions to avoid confusion.
Abram K-J
Phew! Found what I think is the answer here.
Julia Falling
Abram — I deleted all the duplicates, too. A module cannot be deleted, however, if it was the last one you opened. So choose a "keeper" and then you can delete the duplicates and demos. Are you loving your mini?
Abram K-J
Umm... yes. It's really, really great. I think even if price weren't an issue, I'd still pick this over the full-sized one. So convenient! I'm reading much more Greek now that I can get Accordance so easily. <3 (Sorry for the high school girl Facebook-style heart there... no offense to high school girls on Facebook!) Ken Simpson
HI Abram, I am not sure of the differences (perhaps Rick Bennet can help) between ESVS and ESVi, but the info says that the ESVi is "optimized for iOS" I have deleted the ESVS, and left the ESVi on my iPad, and the only issue I can see is that highlights don't sync with AccMac. JonathanHuber
I did the opposite: remove ESVi and keep ESVS. Is that bad?
Ken Simpson
I think it means your iPad will one day revolt and decide not to work since you don't like it being "optimized"... Seriously, I don't know. But I am sure Helen or Rick Bennet will.
Helen Brown
The only difference is the name, so we know which module we are looking at. ESVi is free on the iOS, ESVS is included with the Starter Collection on Accordance, but isn't really free. Word highlighting will not sync between them. Rick Bennett
My preference is to use ESVS on both so that reading location, highlights, etc. sync.
JonathanHuber
That was my thought when removing the ESVi. Thanks for the feedback.
Tim Hall
I also removed the ESVi as well as the Greek and Hebrew demo Bibles and have not regretted it (I do use the ESVS as my secondary text)
