Martin Smith
Hello Accordance team, I remember back in an earlier release (circa v6.x running OS X 10.3 or 10.4) I would have an open application in foreground (e.g., textedit) and yet I was able to move my mouse cursor over a background Accordance window to do original language gloss lookup via the Instant Details window. This was very handy since I didn't need to bring Accordance into foreground processing (it saved two mouse clicks!, I know... what a wimp to complain about two mouse clicks, but I do spend a large amount of time going between textedit and Accordance). But this functionality seems to have disappeared. Or, (I hope) can I "turn on" this feature some how? I'm currently running Accordance 8.2.3 on OS X 10.5.8. Thanks in advance, /Martin
Helen Brown
I think you are confusing two things. The Instant Details, like all floating windows, disappears when Accordance is not in front. Thus it has never been available when another program is active. However, it will work, and still does, when another Accordance window is in front, and you mouse over a tagged text in a background window.
