jpkang
The green symbol indicates that the window will be recycled (e.g., when something amplifies to it). The keyboard shortcut can be found under Window menu > Set. Help has more details...
Mike Garrity
What are the green arrows that appear above the search when I click in the empty space there? see picture attached... I noticed you have not updated to 8.3 yet. We enhanced our use of Help Tags: (from David's blog) Extensive use of Help Tags: Help tags are those little pop-up notes that appear when you drag over a button or menu to explain how that interface element works. We've had a smattering of such help tags for a while now, but we've added many more in 8.3 and are now using Apple's latest system for delivering those tags. Not only will you get a helpful explanation when you drag over an interface element, but if you hold down the command key while viewing a help tag, most tags will expand to offer even more detailed explanations, command-key hints, etc. So if you hover your mouse over the green arrows.. and if you type "recycle" in the Help menu you find related menu items and related articles in Accordance Help..
