HowTo Create a Passage List?

Hello, everyone.

I've searched for the phrase, "Son of God" in the New Testament, but also I would like to have just the list of references from my search without the content of those verses?

In other words, I would like to be able to grab a list of passage references from my search, such as:

Matt. 4:3

Matt. 4:6

Matt. 8:29

...

I already tried the "concordance" option for my search; however, this shows all references even though I select the range for the search both with the RANGE command or by clicking the "+" sign and select the range I want.

Thanks in advanced!

Do your search as usual. Make sure you do not show the context, so you just have a list of the verses matching your search.

Select all the verses ("cmd A" on the mac)

Under the Selection menu item choose "Add Selection To" then choose "Reference List". This can also be found in the right click menu. This will create a new zone with just those verses.

The final step is to bring up the Text Pane Display for the reference list ("cmd T" on the mac). Under "Show as" select "References Only".

You can then save the reference list as a workspace.

If its for copying to clipboard:

Highlight all verses in your list cmd-A, ctrl+click for pop-up menu. Copy As / References.

To display only references in accordance window:

Highlight tab where verses are ctrl-T, 'Show As' drop down menu to references only.

p.s. Steve beat me to it.
