Possible not to break a word in Instant Details?

I noticed that the words are frequently broken into different lines in Instant Details.

I prefer not to break the words.

These are two columns, and you can avoid it here by making the panel deeper. There is no option at present to prevent the formation of columns.

It works if there is not too much information.

I frequently press ⌘ to bring up CDCH, which has much longer content for each entry. Therefore simply by making the pane deeper does not solve the problem for the CDCH.

 

Hope this could be addressed someday later in the future.

However, it is not a major problem. I'm fine to live with that.

You can open the Instant Details as a popover, it doesn't do columns there. Long-click or option-click on the word.

Thanks, Helen. This seems not work for the first lexicon of the library. I really appreciate that by pressing ⌘ I can see the definition in the first lexicon of the library.
