Jason_H
I just upgraded to Accordance 10, and my old computer is still running Accordance 9. I copied my Accordance folders into dropbox to move them, but for some reason the user notes files have no extension. When I check Accordance's sample notes file, it doesn't seem to have an extension. However, without any extension on the files I haven't been able to open/import them as user notes because they aren't being recognized as a valid Accordance format. What must I do? Thank you! Steve King
You need to use the file type fixer. See the following topic for a link to it http://www.accordancebible.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=6613&hl=%2Bfile+%2Btype+%2Bfixer It is self explanatory. Hopefully it should solve the problem. Mike Garrity
Jason, Welcome to version 10! With version 10.2.4, you should be able to add the "acc4" extension to your old User Note files and Accordance will recognize them (allow you to install them). Jason_H
I couldn't get the file fixer to open, but adding that file extension did the trick. Thank you!
