Enoch
Valleys not "vallies" LOL I just tried highlighting "Valley of Sorek" and seeing if the Map Module would bring it up. No; the module denied its existence on the maps. It appears that instead of "Valley of . . ." the maps say ". . . V." So the Valley of Sorek is Sorek V. I request that the Accordance program be tweaked so that "Valley of Sorek" etc. goes to the Valley of Sorek, even if the map calls it Sorek V. mikeall
I find the maps not that user friendly for these reasons. When I am reading a passage and come across a location name of interest that I have heard or like tarshish "I think where is that?" I right click > Lookup > Map and ding = nothing. Can't be found!? Maybe it could be offered to lookup this place in a dictionary instead or saying it can't be found. It would be good to have a search box in the map icon pane to find places. Also, a hand tool/cursor to move the map around and/or a zoom in and out shortcut key that works with the mouse.
Helen Brown
Tarshish is outside the area of the map, for technical reasons. There is a search icon, now in the top left of the tab, it was a Find button in the top right before. Press command to move the move the map with the hand cursor. Command + and - and shift-command + and - zoom the map and other windows. I do recommend the Help files for summaries of all the features of any tab.
