Kirk E. Lowery The president of J. Alan Groves Center for Advanced Biblical Research and also senior editor of the Westminster Hebrew Morphology had this to say about the use of morphological command line codes with their database:

Admittedly, the codes are arcane.

We always recommend to software developers that the software "interprets" the codes for the user so that he doesn't have to learn them.

I believe Accordance has been doing this for quite a while by allowing the use of natural language on the command line/Search Field and the ability to simply drag & Drop grammatical items (as well as check off boxes) in their graphic construct searches.

On, the other hand If one did learn all the codes I could see how it might be of some benefit for fast entree on the command line but to be perfectly honest after conducting searches in Accordance I am already spoiled!
