10.3.1 on Windows 8.1 64bit: I'm using the German keyboard layout and I cannot type characters like  @ [ ].

When I switch to the english (US) keyboard it works using the shift+2.

Seems like the altgr is not working (which is the same as alt+ctrl that I'm using instead sometimes).

just wanted to add that it's seems to apply to the whole application (for example user notes).

What is also different than the default windows behavior: When navigating the curser using ctrl + left/reight arrow key it goes to the start/end of the line. On a mac that's normal using the cmd+arrow keys, but on windows it should only jump from word to word. I use that shortcut all the time. Like the special charaters above (altrgr key) it applies to the whole application.

I found out that you can jump from word to word using the alt+arrow keys instead, but that is very non-windows like, and it would take a long time, for me at least, to get used to that.

The altrgr keys are fixed in version 10.3.2.

The use of Ctrl+Arrow is a good point to note for the difference between the Mac and Windows normal behavior.

We will consider this change, and please let us know what other Windows normal behavior we missed.

On 10.3.2 when I type [ in the search box and have multiple panes open the cursor jumps somewhere else and I cannot continue typing.

There are other issues

 - on a German keyboard all letters are uppercase (and no I don't have capslock on). When I use the en-US keyboard I can type as usual.

 - I can't type in * anymore, it puts out » instead.

 - In verse search I can't type : anymore. It gets translated into two dots: For example john 1:1 becomes JOHN 1..1

I think you could reproduce and test this stuff by installing the German keyboard layout that comes with Windows.

This version is pretty much unusable for me right now. I try do download the previous version now.

Thank you, Elijah, I'll look at these keyboard differences and fix them for next version.

On 10.3.4 the @ can now be typed, but ALT/CTRL are still reversed. I use CTRL+LEFT/RIGHT often to jump between words.
