I was watching the webinar for notes and User Tools and they show that we can add links to tool content within a User tool (Copy as user tool link).

Can this be done with user notes too? Can I add a link to a reference within a Tool like a dictionary or a commentary in a user note?

Thanks

No. Currently this is not the case. User Notes only allow verse reference links. We are hoping for an overhaul of user tools and notes to improve the functionality in that area. It is apparently on the Accordance roadmap.

That's unfortunate. I would love to see that feature added to Accordance. Notes are good but they could become even more powerful.

It is certainly an area that needs improvement and it has been requested in the past, so the Accordance team are aware of the need. There have been comments from Accordance that indicate they are working on it - to quote Paul out of context "if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience".
