Define Range Problem

I have a rather specific and lengthy range of verses I am trying to search within and I cannot seem to get the define range dialog box to accept a set of verses this large. Is there a limit to the number of verses which can be defined? Any ideas on how to get around this problem?

The range includes:

Matthew 3.1; 5.13-19; 5.17-20; 6.26; 8.15-16; 8.21-27; 12.32-36; 12.38-41; 14.27-30; 15.25-28; 16.22; 17.2-3; 21.17-21; 21.38; Mark 2.8; 2.16-18; 4.1-6; 9.23-24; 13.20-21; 14.12; 14.32-42; 16.9; Luke 1.26-40; 2.36-41; 3.16; 4.4; 17.1-6; 19.41-43; 20.3-4; 22.18; John 1.6-12; 1:14; 2.12 3.22; 4.1-2; 4.39-42; 4.43-54; 8.17-20; 8.34-42; 9.1; 9.27; 9:30-35; 11.11-44; 11.49-57; 14.9; 15.16-19; 17.7; 18.15-17, 19-22; Acts 3.1-10; 13.26-31; 16:16-18; 18.18-26; Romans 1.7-9; 1:13; 2.9; 4.8; 5.1; 6.1; 11.9-12; 14.18; 14.19; 15.13; 16.12; 1Corinthians 16.19; Galatians 2.19; 3.23-27; 6:9-17; Ephesians 1:13-18; 2.1-10; 3.1-10; Philippians 1.1; 1.9-13; 1.17-29; 2.6-11; 3.1-11; Colossians 1.9; 1.13-20; 1Thessalonians 4.1-9; Titus 3.8-10; Hebrews 11.23; 1John 4.8-15; James 2.22; 4.7-8

I think there is a limit. The way around it is probably to use the CONTENTS to search another window that is displaying just these verses. If the Search window does not accept all these references, simply select the verses and add them to a reference list window which you can annotate and save with a specific name. There is no limit to the verses or references in this list. Then use [CONTENTS Reference list] with the rest of your search argument. Doing it this way should make no difference to the search results, except for the COUNT command which uses the Range set in the pop-up menu to determine the count.
