Is it possible to view my notes and a bible in a split screen format on my ipad? This would be a great help in teaching classes. Thank you for your help...

There is a page in the help that talks about user notes and viewing them. See the section on "Viewing user notes" and "To view User Notes with the displayed text".

The iPad will support two parallel panes in Accordance. That means you can have your Bible on one side and a User Note on the other. However, they will scroll together, so if you change the Bible passage (as in a topical sermon, for instance), you will lose the User Note. Expository sermons (ones on a single passage) should be no problem.

There is a way to set an iPad up for topical preaching on a series of passages. Search by verse for all the passages you will preach on, in the order in which you will tackle them. That includes multiple references for passages you will return to during the sermon. Then each User Note will occur in the order in which you address each passage.

Example: John 1:1-5; Gen 1:1-5; John 1:1-5; Prov 8:22-36; John 1:1-5; Heb 1:1-2, 8-12; Ps 102:25-27; John 1:1-5

If the (at least somewhat) popular request on this thread comes to fruition, it seems you could also scroll through verse-tied notes independent of your second pane's Bible text.
