Does Search All search user tools and notes ?

Hi ya,

 

I have tried a number of search all tests looking for text contained in a user tool. The search does not find it and it appears from watching the popup window that shows what Search All is doing that it may not be searching user tools, but then that's probably not a really good yardstick. So are user tools supposed to be searched in All or All Tools searches ?
