It would be great to have a mobile/desktop app where we can upload vocabulary words from our library and study them using e-flashcards.

Logos recently made this and it looks great but it only works with the dictionaries you've purchased in Logos which I don't have.

Since I have Accordance, and really prefer it, this would be a great new feature/app and would help so much since I'm currently in seminary.

Here's a link to the Logos Flashcard app

Thanks

I use http://ankisrs.net/. It's great for memorizing anything. Lots of pre-made lists (vocab, etc.) you can use or adapt. Free for Mac, Windows, Linux, Android. Pricey for iOS (i.e., US$24.99, see https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/ankimobile-flashcards/id373493387?mt=8&ign-mpt=uo%3D4). I bought it for iPhone and use it and love it.

There are ways to do this already by exporting search results from Accordance. Search the forum; and see my now somewhat outdated blog post on using Mental Case (still a great app, but flashcardexchange.com is now cram.com and I haven't tried to see if that export method still works for the new site).

The FlashCord File Converter still works to take the results of any complex search you want, and converts the Analysis to a Tab Delim file you can covert to any flashcard program.

Hi ya,

I use Cram frequently and it didn't really change much when it changed from flashcardexchange. It does however have both an iOS and an Android app. I have experimented heavily with extraction of Flashcard data from Acc. and importing it into Cram. I first did an Applescript version of what Rick describes in the blog above. That script is available on the Exchange. More recently I have been using a LibreOffice spreadsheet macro and the Accordance Parsing pane to get data into Cram. I use this technique because it helps hone reflexive recognition of forms - it makes the FC set larger where the variant forms are numerous but it's all good. The LO spreadsheet is also portable between Mac and Windows. I've not released the LO spreadsheet macros as they are still in development (or rather testing) and then Cram broke something, which to their considerable credit they pursued and fixed in spite of it not being easy to track down.

Thx

D
