It's really simple to turn off references/notes on the Mac.

Is it possible to do so on the iOS app?

Yes that must be the Superscrip Reference (on/off switch) under Settings; Text Display.

Hi Fabian, that doesn't seem to work. I tried a few other variations, but I always see the book and reference numbers.
