Hi. I'm getting a MBP and I'm thinking about how to keep my Accordance files (among others) synced between it and a PPC iMac. I'm curious what sync software people use around here. No, I do not use .Mac - and do not intend to. I'd appreciate recommendations. Thanks!

As I understand it, and I could be totally wrong here, the benefit of .mac is that it supports programs that use something like WebDAV that makes the updating smart. e.g. if you delete a browser bookmark on one machine and delete a different one on the other, the protocol makes sure you don't lose either change. So consider that possible benefit in choosing a strategy.
If you want pure file level sync, you can of course use rsync which is included on all macs, but it is command line and fiddly to use.
