With 10.4, there is the widget, but I have one computer which I won't run 10.4 (long story that nobody can figure out), so it runs 10.3. Is there any real advantage to using 6.7 in this case instead of 6.6?

6.7 also has some bug corrections in it. For instance, the instant details issue has been fixed.
