I have a couple references in my Bible Study user note file that contain nothing (I deleted their content), but I can't figure out how to get rid of the reference altogether. How do I do it?

You can open up the note in the edit window, hit command-a (to select all, even if there is nothing there), press delete, then click update. That should do it.

Simply delete the entire note and reference in the Edit window.

Thank you, I was hesitant about deleting the verse reference.
