Several modules are displaying an annoying symbol—a small box with an x inside. In my user created modules, that symbol occasionally shows up when Accordance inserts a tittle (I understand how and why that is happening). I'm frustrated, however, to find this symbol appearing in many of my purchased modules. For example, in the Bible Art module, it shows up before every image. The symbol also appears regularly in the Holman Dictionary.

I didn't notice this symbol as frequently before upgrading to version 8. Is this a problem inherent with the modules, or does it have to do with my particular installation?

We are wondering if this a "hard space" (option-space). What font are you using for your tools, and does the symbol disappear if you change the font?

It sounds like the font you're using may not support the option-space character. Try changing the font and see if it gets rid of the box.

Entirely a font issue. Thanks for the explanation of cause.
