is there a way to color code the words in the diagramming tool when using the english text?

Sure. Just double click the desired word and choose the color you want from the Text Palette. If the Text Palette is not in view, choose it from the Window menu.

Sure. Just double click the desired word and choose the color you want from the Text Palette. If the Text Palette is not in view, choose it from the Window menu.

right. but no way for it to be autoformatted like with the greek and hebrew text, right?

English texts are not tagged with that kind of information. English texts are only tagged with Strong's or G/K numbers—not parsing information. Thus Accordance has no way of automatically color-coding a verse or phrase from an English text.
