There's an interview with Mike Heiser of Logos posted today that might be good for someone to interact with.

Heiser interview

He says, in part,

9. ... If you want to do research in the biblical language above the word level, Logos is the only choice. Iíve found that many Bible software users *think* they are doing syntax searching when they ask for occurrences of a word within a verse in a specified proximity to one another. That isnít syntax searching; itís faking syntax searching with style.

This is followed a few paragraphs later with the note that, "The biggest new item is the Mac product. Logos is now available as a true, native Mac application"--though with no comment that the syntax tools he's just mentioned are not available in the Mac version, which is equiv. to v 2, not the current v 3 of the Windows app.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. While our users are welcome to comment on Logos on other Forums and Blogs, we really do not wish to start a discussion on the subject on this Forum, which must remain focused on Accordance.
