This week's podcast is targeted at two groups of users: those who want ideas for customizing the display of Bibles for different uses, and those who get frustrated when their new default display settings don't seem to rake effect! Dr. J has some great ideas on making the text easier or more fun to read and project. He also takes pains to demonstrate why your defaults don't show up, and how you can get them to stick. This podcast is a must for all who struggle with these issues.
This podcast was a lot of fun to do.
I've been meaning to do this for myself for awhile, but just never took the time. Now that I have a nice text display set up for live teaching, I'm going to explore using Accordance's "slide show" feature a bit more. I've got an eight-week adult class I'm teaching at my local church this fall. It should be a wonderful opportunity to put these skills to use—and promo Accordance to class members a bit at the same time.
I can choose to represent myself as the "local guru and fount of all knowledge" [sad
Is it any wonder I love my job as a podcast host for Accordance?
