Hi,
I was trying to copy and paste a portion of bible text from Accordance into Powerpoint but was unable to. I had to paste first into Word, then copy and paste from Word to Powerpoint. Since this actually does work I hadn't thought to enquire further. But now that I'm presenting more frequently, it's becoming a little tedious and would appreciate any help on this at all?
So far I was only copying Bible texts but I also tried some other tools and references in Accordance. Same thing, cannot paste directly to Powerpoint.
Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a solution to this?
I'm on Accordance 8.5.6, OSX 10.5.8 and Office2008 12.2.4
Many thanks in advance,
Wei

PowerPoint now only accepts Unicode input. Simply set your export to Unicode and PowerPoint will accept it. This setting is in Preferences: Greek & Hebrew, but it will also affect the English export.

A related question: I am trying to copy and paste Hebrew text from Accordance into MS Word running (in emulation, using VMware Fusion) in Windows. Exporting as Unicode does not work, nor does anything else that I have tried. What would work?

Try pasting into TextEdit on Mac, then copying again from there into Fusion.

When I try that, the words (but not the letters) appear in reverse order in Word.

You are exporting as Unicode? Do you have the Text Direction correctly set to right-to-left in both Text Edit and Word?
