Some ideas about the split window, the one you can open by tapping on the [+] button:

To open split window, I have to tap on the [+] button. To close it, I also have to tap on the [+] button. Reminds me of Windows 95, which required me to press on Start button to Quit PC, which is kind of oxymoron. Also, when you open split window by tapping [+] button, seeing [+] button at the bottom suggests that I'll be able to open another split window if I'll tap that button, but that isn't true.

I think Olive Tree has solved it by showing two horizontal lines at the bottom — tap on them and they open split window. Tap-and-drag them to change split window proportions. Tap again and the split window closes. Something similar should be here too. Only by accident I found that I can change split window size — there are no visual clues about possibility to move split bar up or down.

I really miss Back and Forward buttons for the split window resources. For example, I tap on the link and I'm carried away to another reference. How to get back?… No visual clues. Maybe you could place two thin horizontal lines in the middle of the split window dividing line so that users would know that it's possible to move that dividing line up and down? And in the right side place < and > buttons to help navigate in the open resource. And I'd be extremely happy if in between those buttons would be some button which would open the list of the last 4-5 resources used in the split window. To easy switch commentaries or dictionaries, or notes.

Guntis,

You can also close the split screen view by dragging the bar off the bottom or right of the screen (depending on your orientation).

OK, thanks for the tip! Again, no visual clues that it's possible, because you can't open it that way… Also, why can't I drag it to the top and have a full screen view? Somehow it stops 2 lines before reaching the top of the screen.
