Hi all,

Has anyone ever tried using dropbox for syncing user notes and highlights across computers?

Just wondering.

Hmm. Interesting. I'm new to dropbox. But I like the syncing ability. However, one weakness which might exist is a lack of security. If you're looking into dropbox, it might be a good idea to work in some sort of way of encrypting the user notes and stuff.

I'm using dropbox with 1password. And I'm pretty impressed. I thought that if Accordance could do the same thing, it would be really, really nice.

Thanks.

Hi,

I'm using Dropbox for syncing my User Notes between my Mac and my iPad. My question is: is it possible to have it synced automatically?

Currently, once I've made new Notes on my Mac, I then click on "Sync with Dropbox..." on my Mac and afterwards click on the syncing button on my iPad. And inversely if I made Notes on my iPad...that I want to have on my Mac.

Thanks for your help!

Bertrand

Bertrand, Once you set up your Mac Accordance to sync with Dropbox (I think Preferences/Syncing is where to do it), it syncs automatically with Dropbox (every minute, I think, is the interval?). It then syncs automatically via Dropbox across Accordance on two different computers, if they're both set up to Dropbox, but the syncing with iOS is only manual at this point.

Sure thing! I'm looking forward to whatever additional automatic sync options Accordance may be adding in the future.
