Storage capacity is at a premium on an iPhone. I find I have some items that I can do without. But I don't know how to get rid of them. Is there some uninstall feature I am missing?

Use the Edit button on the Library window to Delete them, or just swipe across the item in the Library and you'll also get a Delete option. Note, you cannot delete the currently loaded module.
