On Lev 1:3 the Instant Details for ‏קָרְבָּ֖ן‎ (commonly translated oblation, as a very general term) gives:
"

‏ (קרב) קָרְבָּן ‎Noun comm masc sing abs wood-offering"

Is wood a typo?

I couldn't find any wood meaning listed in either BDB or HALOT.

I see this definition in both BDB and HALOT. Remember that the gloss is a one word definition and cannot cover all the ranges of meaning of the word.

I think the issue here is that there are two entries for קרבן.
The first is the more common one, used in Leviticus: "offering, gift".
The second one is used only in Nehemiah and is "a wood-offering" (BDB) or "supply of fire-wood" (HALOT).

So the ID glosses have simply conflated the two. It'd be a nice fix at some convenient point.
