A trend that I am starting to see for Mac apps is quick navigation using multitouch gestures. I am now to the point that when I want to go back in an app, instead of finding the back button I swipe back on my trackpad or Magic Mouse and the app takes me back (Safari being the best example of that).

Could you add support for that in Accordance as well? Swiping back/forward would ideally control the "Move to Previous Location" and "Move to Next Location" buttons. Maybe add keyboard modifiers to control quickly moving between Books, Chapters, and Verses.

Quick unrelated note. Just bought Accordance last week and I absolutely love it. Still have a lot to learn about it but I consider it one of the best software purchases I have ever made :)

Accordance is superb. When I have it open, however and try to three finger swipe to go to another desktop, it jumps back to the accordance window. Is there a fix for this?

I've experience this, too, so I don't put Accordance in Space 1, but in 3 or 4. That took care of the problem for me. You might also want to set your preferences so that the spaces stay in order, not rearranging according to use (System Preferences -> Mission Control; uncheck the 2nd box "Automatically rearrange . . . ). Hope this helps. This is not really a fix, but a workaround. There will no doubt be a real fix in the future.

And you are both right. Accordance is the best software investment to make, and it is superb. I'm addicted.

Julie, thanks for the suggestion. I did that exactly, also restarted and it still put accordance in each space. This certainly keeps the Bible central! :D True, I'm certain there will be a fix in the future

Another quick tip that I just picked up having to do with spaces: to pin an application to a certain space, right-click on the application's icon in the dock, and under "options" you can assign the application to a space.

I have been using the app: Better Touch Tool. For anything that has a shortcut, you can create a multi-touch gesture. I have about 8 or so that I use for Accordance. They can be customized specifically to individual apps. I use a pinch for zooming and changing font sizes. Two finger side swipe to switch zones. Three finger tap to close tabs. Top left corner tap to maximize zones. And others.

Ross & daniton -

Sorry I wasn't more clear. I do have Accordance assigned to it's own space. Safari, Mail, and Newsfire to another. Numbers and Pages to another. Finale Print Music (music notation software) to another. I think I have five Spaces configured now. I let Text Edit open in any space. I really like to use Spaces. It keeps my desktop relatively uncluttered.

My husband computes differently and doesn't use Spaces at all. All those windows on one desktop drives me nuts. They're all piled on top of one another. That's why we each have our own machines!

Spent the day crawling around on the floor at church working to get parts of a new addition tiled. We're exhausted. Hope this post is lucid.
