accordance 1.2 shows up as an update but when I proceed to update the app store only shows 1.1 and the install button is grayed out and reads 'installed'. What's up with this? It's not your problem but I'm wondering if you can help.

I had the same problem when trying to update directly on my ipod, but updating within iTunes on my laptop worked fine.

The app bundle is too large to be downloaded directly to the iOS, so Apple blocks it and only downloads it to iTunes.

It's probably too large to download over a cellular data connection but should download directly to your device via a WiFi connection. And updating via iTunes will also work of course.

Both the iOS App Store app and iTunes do not consider 1.2rc1 as something to update. I installed 1.2 on iTunes, but synching did not update the iPhone app. I was then able to install 1.2 directly from the iOS App Store. Now both show 1.2 rather than 1.2rc1

The iPhone download was via Wi-Fi

Beta testers are always going to be in a different position with regards to app updates then regular users although we try to minimize the differences. Glad you were able to get the app store version installed.

I downloaded 1.2 via app update on my iPad. At first, it stalled, I canceled and did it again and I was very impressed at how fast it went. Now my WBC-OT and NT are on my ipad along with all my theological journals! This is a major update and I am very pleased and thankful. Bravo! I now have everything on my ipad that I have on my computer except My Tools. Now to update my iPhone and iPod Touch.

Im jailbroken w 3G unrestricted so the problem wasn't dl size. Turns out the issue for me was storage. Thanks very much for your help.

i was hoping to download WBC OT and NT to my iPod touch. I don't see the option to download this. What I am missing?

Sync it directly from your Mac, not through the easy install on the ipod. I have the WBC on my ipod touch and it's great!
