Considering Accordance 7.0 will be out around May or June, if I upgrade to 6.9.2 now, will I get a free upgrade to 7.0 when it comes out? Or do I need to wait until 7.0 comes out?

No, you will not get a free upgrade sorry. We have not yet decided the details, but it will cost you something each time. Version 6 has been out for 2 and a half years, so I guess you are not in a hurry.
