We already went through a way of setting up a search for ὅτι Clauses in the Greek construct window.
There is a faster way, that makes use of the syntax in the Search Text window.
1) If we enter:
οτι @ [COMPLEMENT]
we get all ὅτι that introduce a Complement Clause.
2) If we enter:
οτι @ [SUBJECT]
we get all ὅτι that introduce a Subject Clause. Such Clauses will be Subject of passive verbs or of verbs like μέλει.
3) If we enter:
οτι @ [ADJUNCT]
we get all ὅτι that introduce an Adjunct Clause. They will mostly be causal Clauses.
4) If we enter:
οτι @ [APPOSITIVE]
we get all ὅτι that introduce an Appositive Clause.
And so on.
It is very convenient, and faster that building a Construct search. The drawback is that we won't be able to add content to the the Clause. In order to do that, we will need to build first the Construct search as detailed in the post before this, and then drag and drop elements into the Clause.
