I am a newbie so apologies for this basic question.

I am trying to write user notes including both Hebrew and English in the same sentence. At present I am cut and pasting a verse from the BHS into the user notes and hitting return mid-verse so that I can have a Hebrew word on the left margin followed by English notes. When I try to do this the formatting switches to R-L and the formatting goes awry. Is there any easy solution to this? Should I just copy over one word at a time?

Try adding an extra space and backspacing with the arrow before you paste the Hebrew, then forward spacing to get back to English before you press Return.
