When I select any text and click on 'Diagram', I get the following error message: "There are no words to use in the selected text".

This is a known bug. Set your context slider to "0" and it should work. I'm sure there will be an update that fixes this very soon.

The update to 10.0.1 has already been posted that should fix this bug. Try it out via Check for App Update...
