Verse entry with european notation (.) works infrequently. Attached screen captures.

It seems to me to be working correctly. When Europoean verse notation is not checked, a period acts like a colon and signifies the verse after the chapter, so 6.8 means chapter 6 verse 8. When it is checked, a period becomes a comma, so 6.8 means chapters 6 and 8.
