Request #1
Can you add the ability to change the "notes file" that a note is added to in a drop down list on the "New Note Window"?
I organize my notes in a few different files (Personal, Sermons, Background, etc.) It is very difficult to add a note to another folder after I have added one. For example after adding a note to the Background file if I want to add a note to my Personal file I have to shut down Accordance.
Request #2
Adding notes for several passages:
I want to add a note that is linked to several passages so the little red dot or arrow will appear on all the related passages and not just the first one.
Thanks, I love Accordance. I am using version 9.6.6 and hope to upgrade to 10 soon

Related to Request 2 above, I would love to be able to add notes not just to, say, Romans 3:1, but to Romans 3:1-4. In such cases, perhaps the little red dot could be replaced with a thin red line running down the side of the verses in question?

Hi Brian,
Re request #1
maybe I am not understanding your issue, but you don't need to quit and reopen Accordance to change notes file.
You just open a the notes file you want to change to working on. The simplest way to do this is by clicking the drop down menu at the top of the notes pane.

This gives a drop down

then you can change to the file you want, and when it is active, just hit CMD-U to edit it.

You can also open any notes file you want from the User Notes Toolbar item

Hope that helps

May I add a short 'aside' here - not to do with the requests made but rather concerning Ken's response. Far be it from to suggest that others should follow suit (I cannot imagine how much extra time and effort must be involved!) but Ken's use of screenshots, often with little arrows pointing to various points of importance, are so very helpful. Thank you to all who answer and help with screenshots or otherwise.
