Accordance Update, Easy Install, etc. Does not work

When I try to use the Update function, it won't function. App Update says an error occurred, try later.
Content update & EasyInstall claim there is no internet connection (though I am well connected).
This started under version 9. I was told I would have no problem after installing 10; but the same error is there & it won't let me download the Baker exegetical commentaries I paid for.

There is clearly something blocking Accordance from going online. The App Update and Content Update use different schemes for going online, so there is something blocking your computer from accessing those websites, or perhaps blocking Accordance. I would contact tech support directly to resolve this.

Thanks, I will check my firewall.

Later: Operations in Virus Barrier:

I disabled firewall -- no change.

I disabled the anti-spy program; Voila! Now it downloaded Accordance.
And I had it set to "ask" for Accordance, but it wasn't asking, just blocking.

So Accordance can consider itself now labeled Spyware ! LOL.

The Easy Install offered not only the Baker commentaries I bought,
but also Accordance 10 starter set. I did not download that since I doubt that it is appropriate for me since I have bought a ton of stuff from Accordance.
