So I tried to link the DSS index to DSSB-C (the biblical scrolls in canonical order) with no response. It only seemed to scroll with the DSSB-M (biblical scrolls in manuscript order). Any reason for that?

Yes, because the Index is arranged in Manuscript order.

You can open it in a separate zone displayed next to the DSSB-C text, but the contents won't sync because they are not arranged in the same order.

Any chance that will change in future updates, since DSSB-M won't allow you to have HMT-W4 or BHS-T as parallels?

You cannot parallel the DSSB-M with the Bible since it is arranged by manuscript. That is why it comes with the DSSB-C which has the same material arranged canonically.

Try something like this:

20 downloads
DSSB-M + DSS Index in the left zone. DSSB-C + BHS in the right zone. If you're working on a particular biblical passage, e.g. Gen 1 work through that on the right. If you then have a particular question on a fragment, type that in the search box for the DSSB-M zone; it will navigate right to it, and the Index will sync to that text as well.
The best of both worlds?
