Part of Accordance's appeal is how well it fits in with the rest of the Mac/Apple interface. (Hence double-click to highlight text, triple-click to look things up.)
What about ⌘+F for a searching shortcut in a given text or tool?
I see this much is available, via the help files on shortcuts:
–
–F
-
If a Map or Timeline tab is active, opens the Find dialog box
-
If an Edit window is active, opens the Find/Replace dialog box
-
If in the Index pane of this Help, finds the specific Index term
-
If in the Topic pane of this Help, finds the search string in the topic
–Opt–
– F
Search for the selection in a duplicate of the active Search or Tool tab
That –Opt–
– F shortcut is pretty nifty, by the way.
But a drop-down menu (as Safari offers) where one could enter text would be great--or is are there things already in place like this that I'm missing? Or perhaps reasons it wouldn't be feasible?
