In verse view when one uses the interlinear with the Hebrew text and when one removes some of interlinear features, there is a large space from one verse to the next. Why is this?

What is your text display set to? It looks like you are set to Separate Verses with Spaces. Try changing just to Separate Verses, so it doesn't add in the extra line.
