I broke away from the three year ILCW cycle last year and walked through the historic lectionary.  So I made some user tools that I thought were useful:

Sorry Ken.  I thought I had this thread set to auto-email me with updates.  I was wrong.  Sorry for not following up sooner.

 

All three user tools are open and free to use.  The Swedish lectionary was written down long ago enough that it falls under public domain.  The other two are from the LCMS and WELS websites and are freely sharable.  So, yes, you can include them on the exchange.

For me, it was good to switch away from the 3 year cycle to get a feel of the historic lectionary.  But, as I started this year, I went back to the three year ILCW cycle.  It was important for me to let each gospel writer walk through the life of Christ with his own voice and emphases.  So, this year, we're walking through Luke again.  Good stuff.

 

I'm glad you're able to make use of it.  If you'd like to move back to the three year cycle for a while, here's a link to my "3 year cycle" resources:  http://dl.dropbox.co...Planning_CW.zip.  And yes, Ken, these resources are freely available to be shared and posted on the exchange website.  That would be perfectly fine.

I think preaching through the one year lectionary is something every preacher should do at least once. I think it would be difficult to sustain it year in and year out. Luther and Calvin incidentally were both critical of the one year lectionary.
