When typing in notes or a search pane (or anywhere in the program, I think), the cursor resets to disappear whenever you type, rather than resetting to appear (as in almost every other current program or browser I can think of).  Where this really slows you down is when you make a mistake in your typing.  When you start pressing "delete" rapidly enough, the cursor disappears entirely and it's easy to delete too much (or too little).  I think it would be far more use friendly if the cursor reset to appear whenever a keystroke is made rather than the opposite.

 

And this would be incredibly easy to fix!
