Has Oak Tree ever considered allowing its customers to pre-order a new release say a week or two before it actually is ready to ship? I was just thinking of the backlog that occurred with the release of version 7, and I wondered if allowing customers to pre-order a major new release would ease some of that pressure.

We have often thought about it, but while it would work for downloads, it's more work for the office to keep track of packages that are preordered and need shipping.
